Our company installs the Waterproofing system for Basement wall per the following steps:

Construction Joint Waterproofing installment.

Joint sealing on mineral and metal surfaces for less than 4 cm

Layers:

1. Primer : KÖSTER FS Primer 2C.

2. Joint sealing: KÖSTER Joint Sealant FS-H grey ,KÖSTER Joint Sealant FS-V grey.

3. Backing rod.

Procedures:

1. Cleaning the substrate.
2. Apply primer KÖSTER FS Primer 2C to consolidate, strengthen, and to protect mineral substrates and to reduce their absorbency and increase adhesion.
3. Using Backing rod to help control the amount of sealant/caulking used and create a back stop.
4. Apply Joint sealing KÖSTER Joint Sealant FS-H grey for Horizontal joint , KÖSTER Joint Sealant FS-V grey For vertical joint.

KÖSTER FS Primer 2C

KÖSTER FS Primer 2C is a fast curing.
Transparent.
solvent free two component bonding agent.

KÖSTER Joint Sealant FS-H grey

Self Levelling joint sealant with excellent resistance against mechanical stresses.
high resistance against water, sea water, salt solutions, petroleum and mineral oils.
It is rot and root resistant.
The rubbery-elastic material based on polysulfides is 2-component.
Elastic.
Use for horizontal joints.

KÖSTER Joint Sealant FS-V grey

Layers: Joint sealing on dilatation joints and other moving joints for more than 4 cm

Layers:

1. Primer: KÖSTER KB-Pox Adhesive.

2. Joint sealing: KÖSTER Joint Tape 20 , KÖSTER Joint Tape 30 .

Procedures:

1. Cleaning and griding the substrate.
2. Apply KÖSTER KB-Pox Adhesive for adhesion on the substrate.
3. Using joint sealing KÖSTER Joint Tape 20 or KÖSTER Joint Tape 20 according to the width of the joint.

KÖSTER KB-Pox Adhesive

High performance adhesive.
KÖSTER KB-Pox Adhesive develops a high adhesive strength to concrete, mortar, metal, wood and many other building materials.
It develops high early strength.
It is a 2 component,
epoxy based,
contains no solvents and has a 100 % solids content.

KÖSTER Joint Tape 30

Use for sealing expansion and dilatation joints.
It is UV resistant,
highly elastic.
can withstand extreme movements in the joint.
width is equal 30 cm.

KÖSTER Joint Tape 20

Use for sealing expansion and dilatation joints.
It is UV resistant,
highly elastic.
can withstand extreme movements in the joint.
width is equal 20 cm.
